Description

This project transformed a small, cramped rear kitchen into a light, open space that reconnects seamlessly with the main house. The brief was to improve flow, usability, and the relationship between the internal living areas and the garden.

The existing layout was opened up to create a stronger connection to the rest of the home, with floor levels consolidated to allow the space to run as one. Electric underfloor heating was installed throughout, providing efficient and discreet heating beneath new natural stone flooring, which delivers a high-quality, cohesive finish.

The project included the installation of a new kitchen supplied and fitted by BWK, forming a functional and contemporary focal point within the redesigned space. A new understairs WC was also created, improving day-to-day usability without compromising the main living areas.
To complete the internal works, new plastering and full redecoration were carried out throughout the space. Externally, the garden was landscaped with tiered retaining walls and porcelain patio areas, creating a practical and attractive extension of the internal living space.
