Description

This project focused on reworking the ground floor layout to create a cohesive and practical family living environment. The existing lounge and kitchen, previously arranged as two separate rooms, were connected to improve flow and usability, while retaining clear zones for everyday living.

The existing rear garage was converted into a new family space, adding valuable accommodation and allowing the home to better meet modern lifestyle needs. Structural alterations were carried out to link the new and existing areas, with full-height glazing introduced to maximise natural light and strengthen the connection between spaces.

The downstairs WC was upgraded and reconfigured to form a functional utility area and side entrance, improving storage and day-to-day practicality. Internal finishes were upgraded throughout, including new flooring, bespoke joinery, and built-in seating to add character and functionality.

Electrical and plumbing systems were adapted and upgraded to suit the new layouts, including the new kitchen and utility spaces supplied and fitted by BWK. The result is a well-balanced, light-filled family space designed around modern living.
