Description

This project involved opening up the existing second lounge and kitchen to form a single, flexible living space designed for modern family life. The brief was to improve flow, increase natural light, and create a space that connects more effectively with the garden.

Structural alterations were carried out to unite the two rooms, creating a generous open-plan layout. New bifolding doors were installed to the rear, allowing the space to open directly onto the outside and bringing natural light deep into the newly formed room.

All internal finishes were upgraded, including new flooring, bespoke joinery, and built-in seating, enhancing both the functionality and overall quality of the space. Plumbing and electrical services were fully adapted to suit the new layout and the requirements of the new kitchen and utility.

A new kitchen and utility were supplied and fitted by BWK, forming the centrepiece of the redesigned space. The project was completed with new plastering throughout, leaving the area prepared and ready for the client to apply their chosen final decorations.
